We chose Taylor’s International School Kuala Lumpur because it offers a well-rounded education that beautifully blends Eastern and Western perspectives. The mix of local and expatriate teachers gives our children a global outlook while still instilling Malaysian culture and values, which is very important to our family.
Beyond academics, we truly appreciate the supportive environment that encourages our girls to grow confidently in both character and learning. With its convenient location and nurturing community, TISKL has been the perfect choice for us.

We have found the GIS community to be vibrant, welcoming and active – with plenty of parent workshops, events and opportunities. GIS has a well-deserved excellent reputation for academic achievement, while also offering a comprehensive co-curricular program.
Both our children have had amazing opportunities to travel and represent the school in international sporting tournaments hosted by AIMS, FOBISIA and SEASAC. Our family has really enjoyed being part of the GIS community over the past 7 years.

Coming from Japan, we were grateful for how quickly our child settled in, thanks to the kindness and support of their classmates. They now genuinely look forward to going to school each day. We’re especially impressed by the dedication of the teachers. Our child has become more inquisitive, asks thoughtful questions and is developing a growing interest in a wide range of subjects.

The staff work very closely with individual students so they differentiate every lesson, ensuring the work is appropriate for every ability level. It’s not just about a textbook or a laptop and doing a whole lot of questions, it’s very much about discussion, debate and the exploration of ideas. It’s more than just preparing for exams students learn to appreciate and understand the topics they are studying.
